2016 United Way of Santa Rosa Funded Agencies

United Way of Santa Rosa County invests in strategies for community change by raising community funding to 14 local nonprofit agenices and 3 local programs through our annual workplace donation campaigns.

Other agency benefits include in-kind services, promotion, and client recommendations through United Way of Santa Rosa County. Agencies reapply every year to be reconsidered for the status of a becoming a Funded Agency; no agency is guaranteed funding for any given year.

Funding is determined by our Funds Distribution Team, an independent group of diverse volunteers and board members who represent Santa Rosa come together in March of each year to recommend which agencies will receive funding and how much funding each will receive. The Funds Distribution Team bases its recommendations on local statistics and community needs

This recommendation is then presented to the United Way board of directors for final vote and United Way of Santa Rosa funds each agency accordingly.
