This year we've raised the goal of our workplace giving campaign to $300,000 to be raised in Santa Rosa County. Won't you help us to meet and exceed this goal to improve the lives of our neighbors in need? With one out of four Santa Rosan's having been touched by United Way of Santa Rosa County and our agencies, through receiving assistance and volunteering, your partnership with United Way helps to provide the building blocks to a bright future.
Being a United Way partner is more than just giving -- it's about being a vital part of your community and making a measurable difference. When employees give through payroll deduction, their tax-deductible donation is automatically taken out of their paycheck each month. This makes it easier for employees to give. With operating costs at a low 12%, you can be sure that any gifts received will be appropriated with the highest standards of excellence and accountability. If you're interested in hosting a United Way workplace campaign, contact Kendra at (850) 623-4507 or email@example.com.
If a workplace campaign isn't right for your company or small business, a corporate gift might be a great fit. Your company can choose to designate its funds to certain causes that match its mission, such as education, homelessness or any combination you see fit. At United Way, our donor dollars are appropriated where requested and no fees are charged to any company, agency or individual for funding or services. Companies that give corporate donations of $500 or more may request a check presentation and will receive promotion via the press. Checks should be made out to: United Way of Santa Rosa County, P.O. Box 284 Milton, FL 32572. (Tax ID 59-6142612).
Your business, school or civic group can also host mini-fundraisers to help our campaign. Bake sales, Flip-Flop Fridays or Wear-Jeans-to-Work days are great opportunities to inspire employees and group members to give. For more ideas on how to host a mini-fundraiser, contact Kendra at (850) 623-4507 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to commit your time and expertise to our campaign, you might consider joining our Loaned Executive team. Loaned Executives (LE's) are volunteers who help with the workplace campaign by working with local businesses to run successful fundraisers in their company. After committing time from August to November (3-10 hours a week), our LE's undergo training and become comfortable and confident in presenting to their assigned companies. Becoming an LE is a great way to put yourself in front of community leaders and business professionals.
You may also choose to give individually to the campaign via cash or check donation. You may choose to give directly to United Way, where funds will be split between our agencies, or you may choose to give toward the causes that are important to you. At United Way, our donor dollars are appropriated where requested and no fees are charged to any company, agency or individual for funding or services. Checks should be made out to: United Way of Santa Rosa County, P.O. Box 284 Milton, FL 32572. (Tax ID 59-6142612).
